Cintros possible on 4.01 M33-2?

I've mentioned before on how I got some CTFs for my PSP. Well, some of these have cintros and gameboots as well. I've heard that 4.01 doesn't support them. What's up then? Is it possible?

Gameboots work, but not cintros that I know of. Just flash the Gameboots under

flash0://vsh/resource

Cool, I just wanted to confirm. i don't think I'd use a cintro though until I learn how to make some really cool CTFs. Does anyone know how CTFs like Alienware change how the XMB as a whole looks?

Yeah, what do you do with .ctf files? I've seen themes that use them; but I have no idea what to do with it.

The same as .ptf themes, you just need the cxmb plugin for 4.01 m33.

seeing as I have no idea what a .ptf is, could you link to the cxmb plugin? And maybe a quick tut for theme installation with it?

Ptf is a Playstation theme file.

That I figured, so what exactly does the CXMB plugin do?

It stands for Custom Xross Media Bar and the original which is basic psp XMB (the white icons on your psp when you start it up)
it is a homebrew application that installs a homebrew version of the XMB themes which most of them are way nicer than sony could ever cook up.

So basicly it takes the pain out of having to flash0 files, and reduces the risks of bricking. Mkkay any idea where I can find .ctf/.ptf based PSP themes? Most of the ones I've seen are flash0 based ones.
Thanks btw :D

yea there compatible. but make sure you get the right ones or they wont work but even if you do get the wrong ones and put them on there,
you wont brick they'll just make the home xmb normal again.
