I'm deciding to return my PSP (phat) and get a new one using the in store warranty I bought when I got it.

I am wondering what to look for to be able to know if the new PSP I receive will be downgradable and will be able to support Custom Firmware such as M33.

I heard you need to know about the motherboard and other things. Help will be appreciated.

Well if your going to turn it in for a new one, it will probably be set at a very high firmware. Are you getting a Slim? or a phat?
I think you can downgrade any firmware with Pandora so far, correct me if I'm wrong.

If you have a hacked phat, make a battery before you sell it so all you have to do is make the MMS afterwards.
