My dad has recently bought me a P4M800PRO-M Motherboard. Anyone tell me if it's good/fast?
I really don't know anything about computer specifications...so help?

I've heard good things about it.

Some claim that its very stable, others say the exact opposite.

I guess it depends on what hardware you add to it. :P

What do you mean by what kinda hardware I add to it?

It'll work better depending on what other hardware you're using.

It may work better with a certian brand/Model of hard drives than others.
Pretty-much the usual...

You will be very limited to what you can add to it. The only good thing really is the LGA775 socket, which it seems like all of Intel's chips use. The ram isn't all that great that you can use either, but it's ram. Only allows a max of 2GB of ram according to the manufacturer's website. If you use it, you will also probably want to get a AGP video card for it as the onboard video uses a older chipset, as well as 64mb of shared ram. It's a pretty much entry level motherboard, it does have two SATA ports (not sure if SATAI or II) and 2 IDE channels. It's a ok motherboard. Definitely not the most up to date, but it works.
