Hi All,

You must get sick at reading the same daft questions over and over again so therefore I must apologise if this is one of them.

I have just been given a PSP with firmware 4.05 installed on it. Is it possible to hack into this PSP so that I can use the Homebrew software etc.

Sorry for asking,

Cheers,

Fred

No problem, dude. We get the same questions nearly everyday and no one's really been bothered by them.
If you need to, ask some more questions! :P
And yes, you can. You have to have access to a homebrew enabled PSP or you should have an extra battery that you can hard mod.

What he said,

Basically you need what is called the "Pandora's Battery and Magic Memory Stick".
These is simply a modded battery and memory stick - that when put in your psp,
will allow you to put your psp on a Custom Firmware. From there you can play
Emulators, Homebrew, and backups of your PSP games.

You can either make it yourself or purchase them off the net.
