ISO's

I'm moving country and unfortunately my mountain of DVD's cannot come with. So I need to take soft copies of them on my hard drive. Unfortunately my laptop drive doesn't allow burning because of dvd protection thingies on the disk. Nothing can get past this that I know of, not even the latest dvd shrink, so I assume it also has to do with the firmware on the drive. (I'm on XP). So I figure, the best way to do this is making an ISO from the disk, right?

So I tried to use 'ISO Producer' which came with Autopop Station. But I am unsure of the settings, as any tutorial I have seen obviously relates to PSOne games. I tried to create an ISO already, and it was an appropriate size, but PowerISO did not recognise it. Anyone know what I should do?

Not to be rude, but that seems to be a tutorial for PSOne game burning. Did you read my post?

It has all kinds of functions. Hmm it looks like it just compresses them to reburn them. Or you can format them to go on different mobile devices like psps, pdas, all that kind of stuff. There are like 10 options, one of them might be iso, not sure.

I downloaded the japanese version (i think) of the new Crazy Taxi game on the PSP...but all that game with is an ISO, not even a read-me, so I can't convert it with Iced-Tea unless I have the proper Sony code (usually on the packaging and disk somewhere) and game id. Where can I find these?
