PLEASE HELP, Loud Laptop fan

So I have done sum research on the net about this problem n got a couple of solutions lyk, clean the fan, cooling pad. Its my understanding that the laptop will heat up wen the processor is being overworked n therefore increase fan speed n noise. Will and upgrade in RAM solve the overheating problem? I have noticed that the fan gets louder for example when am playing a video on Megavideo.

Your best bet would be to clean the dust off the fan/heatsink on the processor. It isn't that the processor is being "overworked", but it is just working. The processor working equals the processor heating up. Getting more RAM won't fix a overheating problem, because the RAM just stores temporary files. The processor will still be processing information. The fan is speeding up because the processor is getting hotter, so it speeds it up to cool the processor better. So either, clean out the guts, get a cooling pad, or manually turn the fans down and let the processor overheat and burn itself to a crisp! Has it gotten loud before?

If possible, vacuum the fan's outlet. Many times all that dust prevents from the CPU to cool down. I know it's easier in PCs, but not as easy on laptops. Use a strong vacuum.. it will help.

What kind of surface is your laptop resting on?

on a flat surface (plastic chair) , wel kinda sinks in a few inches in the middle so the fan isnt blocked. I was thinking about the cooling pad solution. The problem is the noisy fan, wont the cooling pad add to the problem coz they have lyk 2 or 3 fans on them?

Well if you haven't cleaned it before then your best bet would be to clean out the inside with some compressed air from the store. Then again you can get a lint free cloth, or your hand if you really want to fix it the free way, and wipe the dust off the heatsink on the processor, and also the exhaust fan. And no a cooling pad shouldn't add to the problem, but I don't know if it would fix it either because all the cooling pad is, like you said, a plastic bottom with fans that just help pull more air.

You really don't have a problem, your problem is just a clogged up heatsink.

You can at least try blowing a sh!3load of air through the vent(s) on the side/bottom, and try and get as much dust out as you can without taking it apart.
