Apparently I can use my dual shock on my PC? How can I get this going?

You need to buy a Bluetooth Doongle.
With it, you can also use Wiimotes, and 360 controllers.

Or you can just plug the sucker up with the usb cord, and configure like any other controller. Or at least that's what I remember from when my friend did it, I don't have a ps3. I know all it's the same as the xbox 360 controllers, you just plug up the corded ones or buy M$'s little wireless receiver for it to plug up to yo compy.

Yes obviously I would need a Bluetooth dongle. I was talking about the software neccesary to get it running properly on PC.
