Boot into your recovery menu and enable the M33 updater. Now if you have an internet connection you can go to the regular update icon and it should update you to a newer version of custom firmware.

you will need an online connection either way, from a computer or from your psp...

but yeah, you just pretty much need to download 5.00 m33, install that then update it to m33-6

It should have install instructions in its readme files

Go to Dark Alex's site and get DC8 which will load 5.00m33-4 then you can do online update to 5.00m33-6

You need to update to 3.52M-33. and then go from there.

I would use Google to find updates for whatever version of M33 you want to upgrade to. If you have a magic memory stick then you could even use one of the many different versions of Despertar del Cementerio. Google is your friend.

IF you use a Pandora battery you should have a memory stick dedicated to the updating and restoration of your PSPs firmware.

You actually build up CFW using official firmwares. I like to keep them on a separate stick and I keep it safe with my pandora battery so it is available if I need it.

skelator, just jump to the tutorial section and use the starters guide, its got the files and guides for the custom firmware versions. You'll have to update to 3.52 m33-4 before you can update to a newer firmware though. Once you get to 3.71 m33 (or newer) you can update straight from the network update icon by enabling the m33 updater in your recovery menu. (thats for future reference though so you dont have to go searching for files/guides)
