No, it was never hacked by Datel.
It's interesting what they did, actually.
They marketed a new battery they made as a Pandora for the 3000.
They put it up for pre-orders and were going to start selling them in the near future. (It would still be unreleased today.)
About a few weeks ago, they decided to secretly change the features of the battery stating that it only puts PSP-2000 models into service mode and only works as a regular battery for the PSP-3000 instead of being a Pandora for both.
This made a lot of people angry and right now, Datel is being sued by Sony.
I personally believe that since they always steal the PSP hacking scene's tools and programs and sell them, they were probably waiting for DAX or someone to get the Pandora to work on the PSP-3000 and then release it publicly. They would then proceed to take his work and market it as their own but this time, they'd be able to say they had a working form of it for a longer time than DAX.
So, a lot more people lost respect for Datel, and hopefully they get what they deserve.
