MP4 video to JPG

Is it possible to take a snapshot of an MP4 video or would I have to convert the video to some other format to take a snapshot of it?

Well do you know of a good one? It would save me a little time if you know of or have used a good one.

Or, play the movie on your computer and screencapture!
It's easy.
Press the Prt Scr button found on all keyboards.

Get the Alternative VSH Menu by Red Squirrel.
It has a screen capture thingy built-in.

THERE WE GO! Thanks!

I hadn't even heard of such a thing.

Did you know Red retired from the scene a few months ago? Says everything that can be programed for the PSP already has been and that he has too many other things going on with work and such.

Anyhow, I got the menu working and took a snapshot of what I wanted.
The snapshot was for a thumbnail of a movie but I learned that if the size of the thumbnail exceeds 160x120 pixels that it won't show on the PSP for the video.

So by using the Alternative menu I get the pic that I want but I still need to DL it to computer to resize it so it works as a thumbnail. Not too convenient but I can deal with it.

Yeah, it was sad. He's one of the best coders for it.
It's sad that he left us.. :(

Yeah, I had no clue what a THM file was until a while back.
(Or is it TMF?)
