Looking in to making games for PSP

I am new to programming but I have been wanting to make games for the PSP for quite some time now. I just dont know what program to use and where to start. I know crait is good what programs do you use to make PSP games? Please help me out here I know a little bit of C++ but i realized thats bad for game programming. Help please :) Goose.

I was gonna do this once, but I couldn't properly install the darn tools to compile the code. CGYWIN? and toolchain.

You should contact people that already did develop homebrew games for the PSP or that ported some to the system. tunnel rush

There's a fanmade trilogy of Zelda games (set around I and II for the NES in terms of timeline) made by a French guy. Those were ported from somewhere else, but it could be a starting point.
