PSP Demos on non-modded PSPs?

Hey guys, I have a friend who has an unmoddable PSP (ATM) and he really wants to play the FF: Dissidia demo that came out on the US PSN store. Thing is, he has no internet. Do downloaded copies of the demo from the internet (not the PS store) work on unmodded PSPs? If they do, would shrunk and compressed versions of the demo work as well?

I don't see why a demo wouldn't work, I used to back in the day download demos all the time and copy them to my psp and they worked (it was unmodded at the time). Although I'm pretty sure a shrunk version of the demo wouldn't work, because a stock psp can't play cso's anyways, and I'm pretty sure demos aren't iso's to begin with so yea.

Yea demos are EBOOT.PBP files I think. They should work but he might have an error,
if there is an error I think you have to disable any plugins for the GAME folder.
I just installed Media Go on my PC a week ago and you just plug in your psp and download
demos from there. It's also a good media manager.

I'm pretty sure that games and demos any media from the PSN has a liscense and such media can only be played on the psp you downloaded it on. Atleast that how it is for me once i copy a file to my pc I can't play it on any psp afterwards. I could be wrong I've only tried with a few files got sick of redownloading Patapon 2.
