Been about 6 months since I've used that program, but I believe all you have to do is start the iso and then use L + select to get back to the main menu and choose w/e music you want... maybe it's L + start... can't quite remember.

I've never tried out the MP3 prx, but I've heard good things from it. I think it's safe to suggest that instead of IRShell but if you are already wanting to use IRShell to begin with, then that's a different story.

Jak_Master's PRX Pack for 3.10 OE-A - Version 2

Download Link: http://homepage.mac.com/kevinmacleod/ps ... ack_v2.zip

After receiving several requests for detailed instructions about how to install various plug-ins for 3.10 OE, I decided to put together a pack of some of my favorites. Everything has already been formatted, controls have already been changed to be compatible with each other. All you have to do is copy the included folder onto your PSP and activate the plugins.

This second release includes the latest versions of SVCapture and POPS Loader, and version 0.4 of the MP3 PRX. SVCapture allows you to take screenshots and motion pictures of anything on your PSP. PopsLoader enables you to run PS1 games using any of Sony's PS1 engines, rather than just the one in 3.10. This gives you the absolute greatest compatibility with all of your games. The version of POPS Loader included in this pack comes pre-packaged with all of the files required to run your PS1 games using any of Sony's engines. MP3 PRX allows you to play music anywhere in your XMB or in your PSP games. It also allows you to set the clockspeed, unless you've already specified a clockspeed for your PSP in the recovery menu.

How to install PRX Pack v2

This installation is simple, safe, and fast. It can't brick your PSP and it doesn't access flash. All of the files you need have been pre-formatted.

1. Download and unzip Jak_Master's 3.10 OE-A PRX Pack (v2)
2. Copy the seplugins folder in the zip file you just downloaded to your PSP, placing it on the outermost directory. Replace the existing folder if necessary.
3. Restart your PSP in recovery mode, then go to "Plugins" section of the recovery menu and enable whichever plugins you want to use

Information about each PRX

SVCapture05

Information:

This plugin allows you to take screenshots and motion pictures of PSP games, PS1 games, and the PSP's main menu. Pictures are saved as PNG files, videos are saved as GIF files. This version includes a custom config file which is compatible with several other PRX files.
Controls:

ScreenShot: Select + LTrigger
Record Video: Select + RTrigger
Stop Recording Video: Select
POPS Loader

Information:

This plugin allows you to specify which version of Sony's PS1 engine (referred to as POPS) you'd like to use to run PS1 games. This plugin will automatically activate the first time you launch a PS1 game, and will remember your preference each subsequent time you launch it. If you'd like to change which version of POPS a game uses, hold the right shoulder button while starting the game.
MP3 PRX 0.4

Information:

This plugin allows you to play MP3s whenever and wherever you want to, including while you're playing PSP games. It also allows you to overclock the PSP anywhere, including inside the web browser.
Controls:

Increase Music Volume: Note + Up
Decrease Music Volume: Note + Down
Start / Stop Music: Note + LTrigger
Previous Track Note + Left
Next Track Note + Right
Toggle Mode: Note + RTrigger
Increase CPU Speed: Note + Triangle
Decrease CPU Speed: Note + X
Reload: Note + Circle
Show Onscreen Display: Note + Square

Questions

Q: How do I use these plugins?
A: Restart your PSP in recovery mode, then go to "Plugins" section of the recovery menu and enable whichever plugins you want to use

Q: How do I upgrade to 3.10 OE-A?
A: Use the following guide:

~ 3.10 OE Custom Firmware Installation Guide (Ver. 3.10 OE-A) ~
Q: How do I use the Recovery Mode?
A: Turn your PSP completely off by holding the power switch for several seconds. When you turn it back on, hold the right shoulder button.
For more information about how to use the recovery menu, see the following guide:

~ 3.10 OE-A Recovery Menu Guide ~
Q: What firmware can I use these with?
A: They are tested completely on 3.10 OE-A. I wouldn't recommend using them with anything other than that, although they might work.

Many of the prx files for psp are hard to find. People have trouble finding the svcapture prx all the time.

Now if only someone would create a tutorial with easy links and descriptions for installation and use..........

irshell works on any firmware @ light allistor. Just not all the functions work for anything newer than 2.71 se-c because the program was built to read from devhook paths. But you can use the plugins instead of the program and everything will work fine.
