The things you forget... CSO won't load in 3.03 oe-c. Why?

I havn't picked up my psp in a while but got the itch to play Loco Roco so I'm back at it again.

I Dl'd the CSO and put it in the ISO folder... Turned run UMD off and I'm in 3.03 oe-c.... No game in my game menu. Why? MY PSX eboots are there as well as my emulators.. But no loco roco.

Bad CSO or am I not doing something correctly?

Everything WAS working before. I mean, I have PSX ISO's and lots of other stuff on my PSP.

If memory serves me correct, you no longer need an ISO loader in addition to the firmware for 3.03 oe-c, since it's kinda built in now. So, it should work.

And the file is good, I checked posts where pple have dl'd it and commented on it. :( I want to figure out why. <sighs> I've only been out of the Homebrew scene for a few months and I've forgotten so much :( What a n00b :P

run me through exactly what your doing with your cso file. Give as much detail as possible so myself or someone else can try and pinpoint where you went wrong. I'm not ruling out the possibility that its a bad cso because that does happen from time to time.

Ok...

I DL'd the game Castlevania: Symphony of the night for the PSX.
I unzipped the game.
I then copied the game to the ISO folder on my mem stick.

When I go to GAME on my mem stick, it says the file is corrupt :(

I'm in 3.03 oe-c. I have the no UMD thingy off. I have the same disc I used before loaded in the UMD slot.

:(

I thought you had to make psx games into an eboot? Or use a iso loader for psx games. I am pretty sure though you don't have to use a iso loader for psp games, maybe just psx games.

You have to convert the iso to eboot with popstation, and put it in you game folder name of the game number ex:SCLUS98970

PSP games. NOT PSX games. My PSX games run fine. It's loco roco.

ANd, actually, I figured it out ;) I'd like to see if you guys can still figure out what the problem was though.

Ahh see you threw us off cause after i asked for you to explain what you were doing you said something about the castlevania psx game. But yeah my guess...you either had the iso folder in the wrong location or you put the zip file on there instead of the cso file :P
