You can either use the Pandoras Battery method by:
making your own using an already homebrew-enabled psp
buy one off ebay
or open up your battery and use some soldering skills by messing with the insides.
Or you can use the Lumines 3.50 downgrader by upgrading to 3.50 then using the Lumines I game to downgrade. However, there are newer versions of the game that prevent you from being able to downgrade. So you'd need to borrow one from a friend that got theirs a while back, or if you might have one that you got a while back, then you can use that.
