Non-Pandorizable Slim?

From psp-hacks.com:

Non-pandorizable PSP TA-088 Motherboards
greg | July 24, 2008

It’s sad, but true… (Newer?) Slim models utilizing the TA-088 motherboard render Despertar del Cementerio (DC), Pandora, and Time Machine useless — for the time being…

Custom/unsigned IPLs fail to load from the memory stick; that’s likely a result of the kernel 1.50 & 3.40 mix. With that said, we won’t see a new version of DC — Dark_AleX’s universal unbricker — until the revamped core and interface is finished. So in the meantime, be careful.

What do you guys think? Is cfw reaching the end of the road?

Are the new colored japan psps affected by this? I was considering getting a mint green one, but after reading this, am considering holding off on it.

idk

i really dont know if this is true..... i bought my new psp 2000 literally 4 and a half hours ago and everything works. i have 3.71 m33 and working to upgrade and put the 1.5 kernel on there. the only problem i'm having with it is that the CSO's wont work for some reason.

Did you enable the M33 Driver in the Recovery Menu?
