Someone Help Me Get Started?

I used to go to this site when I had a PSP 1000. I told my mom she could send it away to our cousins. Now, I want a PSP 3000. Firstly, can I use emulators, homebrew, or play PSX games on the 3000? Thanks.

As of right now no. The psp 3000 hasn't been cracked yet. Give it some time though...just like everything else so far they'll find a way.

I would get a 2000 model if I were you. I know a lot of people are unhappy about the 3000 screens because of the pixel layout causing lines in some games. Plus, the 2000 model has already been cracked (assuming you don't get the brand new motherboard) so you could have a PSP running whatever you want today!

I don't think that the Blue PSP's are HEN.
I know back in the day, you could always check the numbers next to the bar code.
I'm not too sure about that now..

No, serial numbers are not reliable anymore. The only way to know for sure is to have the psp in your hands, especially with the latest 2000's.

Buy the oldest one you can as soon as you can before the 2000 goes bye bye.

Alright! I finally got one today as a birthday present from my dad. I purchased a white, used darth vader psp with only a few dents and scratches on the back; the psp is still in good shape. Nothing is on this psp right now.

So NOW, may I be assisted here? My PSP's version is 3.95. I may want to buy some PSP dank at the playstation store. When I have enough money, I'll be buying a bigger gb memory card so I can finally get some Final Fantasy 7/ Final Fantasy 9 action going on at the palm of my hands.

Are there any titles out there that any of you could recommend as a greatest hit on the psp? I've been looking at patapon videos on youtube... looks neat. And it's only a twenty.
