Ok, I've basically haven't been in the homebrew scene for a really long time. I don't even remember my old username! Anyway, I just bought a 4gb stick but realized that I need to update the firmware in order to use the full capacity. Therefore, I figured, why not put one of those hacked firmwares, right? the only problem is I do not know how...could someone please help me out? I'm guessing the most recent one is the 4.01 m33, but I really have no idea.
BTW, I have a "fat" psp with the 2.01 firmware.
thanks!
You are in luck indeed, there are possibly 3-4 downgraders you can use on that firmware to get down to 1.50. From 1.50 you can upgrade to a Custom Firmware. Do you happen to own a copy of Lumines or GTA: LCS? You can use those games to downgrade.
oh sweeeeet! I was reading up on some tutorials and found that to upgrade to the 4.01 i have to have at least version 3.52. whats the deal with that though?
I think you have to be on 2.71 for that one. However if you choose that downgrade, be sure to check and see if you have a TA-082 Motherboard or not and do the correct downgrade.
ok...ive been done for a while now, but i dont know how to open up my snes emulator...do I just drag the folder with the emulator into the game folder on the memory stick?
