LOL, well, there's three routes. See, in order to make "Pandora's Battery", you need to use a PSP that already has a custom firmware to create the battery. However, there are variants that you can purchase online such as the Datel Tool which is essentially a Pandora's Battery but marketed through the company Datel. You can also make one yourself if you have skills with a soldering iron and a technology background, but I'll assume you don't right now (no offense). This involves pulling the battery apart and physically modifying it in order to become a "Pandora's Battery".
The term we are referring to, "Pandora's Battery", or PD, is a type of hack for the PSP's battery that changes the serial number of the battery to a different sequence which allows the loading of a custom (IPL) Initial Program Load. Basically, what this means in lamen terms, is that it "makes the PSP a blank slate" in the sense that it allows you to "downgrade" to an incomplete version of PSP Firmware 1.50. From there, you can easily update to custom firmware.
The choice is yours. Like mentioned above, you would need a memory card that is 256mb or larger and preferably a "SanDisk" branded one (many users find that they are faster than Sony's).
1. Find someone with a hacked PSP and ask them for assistance.
2. Buy a pre-made Pandora's Battery online or a Datel Tool (make sure to get the original and not the slim model).
3. Modify the battery yourself.
You
can make a PD turn back to normal if you software mod it with another PSP that has custom firmware, that's the easiest way. However, if you opt to modify the battery yourself, there are methods of installing a "switch" on the side of the battery to change between modes as well.
We have two guides in our Tutorials Section that you can read in order to obtain more information about what you may need. I've gone ahead and added those two guides as hyperlinks below

Please feel free to ask
any and all questions no matter how stupid or insignificant they may seem to you. If you cause the PSP to brick, you'll be forced into buying a pre-made PD or Tool in order to restore your PSP to normal, but at LEAST you should know that if you mess it up - you'll still be able to fix it yourself and we can help you
