best thing I could find is called RemoteJoy which lets you put your PSP screen on the computer-then I could use a computer screen capture application to do it....but that would take a bunch of time :(

I have used 2-3 different screen recorders on the PSP but the PSP was slow as hell while it was recording, and they only recorded in GIF as well. I suggest just using RemoteJoy to put the screen on a monitor to record.

Why do you need to record it anyway?

sorry about the double post
I need to record it because that's the only way I see so far to get the original waves in a usable format

I see, well unless there is an updated version of a screen recorder, the quality won't be what you are looking for.

It will give much better quality than recording on the PSP itself.
When you use RemoteJoy it increases the size of the picture though so the quality isn't 100%.

You might be able to edit some options so that the screen is the original size.

Ok thanks for the help so far...I've got my psp up and running 3.90 m33-3 firmware....I didn't want to use 5.00 m33 cause Sony changed the wave style and I prefer the older ones but now I am in desperate need of a working download link for Remote Joy cause all the ones I could find were out of date and said that the file no longer existed can anyone point me in the right direction or give me a download link? Thanks in advance.
