Psp flash memory

I got a few questions.
1.) If i wanted to install a plugin to the flash, such as Cxmb, where would i place it it in the flash?
2.) How large is each flash?
3.) How are you? lol.
Thanks in advanced!!!

Plugins can now be run off of the memory card without worry of flashing them to the PSP's NAND memory (which stores the firmware). However, you can choose to install them directly on the firmware as long as you have enough empty space in your internal memory. For the fat, original PSP, they have 32mb of storage for the firmware and depending on your firmware you're using it may be very far away or fairly close to filling up that space. On the 2,000 and 3,000 PSP's they have 64mb NAND memory so there's more wiggle room for installing plugins directly.

I'm not sure of the very latest firmwares but I remembered using plugins easily from the memory card by putting them in the "SEPLUGINS" folder located on the root of the memory stick.

I'm doing quite well also ;)

I've already got about 10 plugins in my SEPLUGINS folder. I just heard i could put CXMB in the flash. But first i need to find out what flash to put it in and where to put it in that flash.
P.S. Ive been Moddin' N' Brew'en for awhile now, its sad i dont know much bout the flash... although, i did accomplish fully customizing my XMB, Gameboot and Hardboot, and most of the sounds without a flashing program.

Well it's been almost a year since I've modified files for plugins but I believe most can be installed in the VSH/resource folder (or resource/VSH, can't remember). I'm not 100% on that though, so look into that first. Why is it that you want to flash them directly to the firmware though? There seems to be just about no reason I can think of to do that now. Running them from the memory stick is cleaner and much more safe.

I also used the program, I believe it was called "pspfiler" to do my dirty work in the flash memory. It makes things like copying/ pasting easier (for backing files up/ dummying files if you wanted) and gives a lot of control for those that know what they're doing.

PspFiler Rules!
I just found a problem with my idea, ill still have CXMB without a mem stick, but you stil need the themes that are on the mem stick. Oh well, i wanna try putting Hold on the flash (so i always have it) but i dont think it works with 5.50 Gen D-2.
One last thing, if you install a plugin to the flash, how will the Psp know the plugin is actualy there if theres no mem stick?

Well once it's actually installed to the PSP's flash memory, if it's done correctly, it will treat the file(s) as if the selected file(s) are part of the firmware itself!

Do things wrong, however... and you could be looking at a brick.

Thanks!

"Hold"? What do you mean? If it's a plugin, please link to where you're getting it from and I'll try my best to answer. It SHOULD work if it's a plugin - most do work on almost any custom firmware.
