I have a 2000 slim and lite...

whenever i saw a table about the slim psps motherboard, it always said u cant make a pandora battery, but with 5.50 gen-B,D u can.. (I haven't tried with gen-a so i dont know about that).. so it is possible!

I really Don't think that Pandroa can be fixed through Software.

Software can't stop Pandora's Battery. They've tried to make the hardware not accept that method of input, but in order to do that successfully, they'd need to change how they actually enter service mode on their end as well... and I mean, heck, they COULD do that, but now that we know service mode is the key - we'd just get in another way.
