Re: Sony and Nintendo.

Yes, that's why Puncharger. In fact, some of the games are coded so that they will enhance graphics at lower resolutions because it's possible to have them look better and run better at lower resolution.

And wow, diehard, $360 Canadian bones for that card is fierce. I got mine on eBay about a month and a half after the line was launched and got a used/ working 4890 for $174.99 with free shipping. ;)

The only problem with that is that I like the card and would get a second one for the rig but the prices on them are higher than what I'd originally payed. Currently looking for other cards to crossfire with it.

I'm kind of surprised a 4870 could run Crysis maxed. What resolution?

I am kind of known around here for having a good PC. I have a quad phenom II @ 3.6ghz each core, 8gb DDR2 800mhz RAM, and a 4890 1gb graphics card. The 4890 is a beast, truly. Glad I went with this one instead of waiting.

I can play Crysis 1 and Crysis Warhead at absolute maximum graphics (all enthusiast settings) and with full motion blur at a resolution of 2048 x 1152. It's a mind-f*** playing such a graphically intense game, but Crysis itself falls short, in my opinion, as being too easy. I will admit, however, that the enemy A.I. is absolutely miserable in Crysis most of the time, so if tweaked, that could make things much better.

Re: Sony and Nintendo.

Ah, 2 4870's. Makes a little more sense now.

Try Battlefield Bad Company 2 on there. Some of the best graphics and SURELY the best audio experience you'll ever have in a game to-date. Just enable "War Tracks" in the options.

Any problems with it yet? I just hooked mine up to a 23" monitor and bought a Logitech G110. Ha! Feels like I have a desktop now.
