[Tutorial] How to identify a TA-082 psp motherbord

TA-082 Check

Simply place your psp face down on a table, pop open the UMD slot, and check if there are these numbers in the upper right corner inside your drive
IC1003
If you see those, or any numbers you cannot downgrade (see note at bottom). You cannot use the UP mod chip (Undilutted Platinum) either. You can run TIFF homebrew, but there are only 12 games and 6 programs for TIFF homebrew, so it is not very useful. Higher firmware can enable you to play flash games, but it is recommended that you just wait until your psp can be downgraded instead of upgrading.

***** you CAN downgrade a ta-082 psp with 0okm's downgrader. It works on version 2.80 *****

TIFF homebrew is run from the photo section. It was a good idea at first... but nobody wanted to make anything for it/ there are limitations.

you can pretty much just forget about TIFF homebrew, it is useless in my opinion.

There were only 12 games ever created for it (simple things like tetris/ pong/ space invaders) and 6 programs. Don't bother with it.
