When It crashes and makes that 'You took the cartridge out of your GBA' sound, go to the gpSP menu, and make a save state. Then load that save state.

Problem solved!

NOTE: Do this with the cutscene that follows the battle between Larxene and Sora.

Can you skip the cutscene using the Start Button or A or something?
If you can, you should do that and then use the savestate function.
If you can't, then try getting different dumps.

Hee hee. Dumps. :D

No Crait. Its not the dump. It does that no matter what dump you use. And this is Square Enix were talking about.
Of Course you can't skip cutscenes!

The Savestate bypass method is the ONLY way.

How about this....
Get VBA (GBA emulator for PC) and get past the cutscene. Then save and transfer the save over to the PSP.
;)

And roxfox64, of course it matters what dump you use! If it is a corrupted dump, then it would never work on any emulator!

Why bother? That savestate method takes like two seconds...

thanksfor the help. the color screws up alot but at least i can play it. i would prefer to not skip scenes as the only reason i am playing it is because i wanted to know what happened in detail between 1 and 2. my friends said the game fills in holes.
