Question

Was reading about the zelda trick and the homebrew installation. i tried it and it works but my question is, it seems like you have to leave the sim card in for mplayer to work? is that right or can i just copy the files directly to the wii?

First off, it helps to be using the right vocabulary... sim cards are the little data cards that go in cell phones. You're referring to an SD card.

Anyway, yes, the SD card has to be left in. The Wii has next to zero internal storage, so its pointless for any homebrew to even use the internal storage.

SD cards are cheap... go pick one up.

ok well i have one, i just took it out of the camera i had it in.
