Downgrading problem

Hi,
I'm new to this board and to everything wii-related. I just got a wii from a friend of mine and I want to try things out with it. First things first, my wii is 3.4, so I have to downgrade so the Twilight hack will ''stick''.

I've read tutorials on downgrading but I still can't get it to work. I followed WiiGen's tutorial to downgrading my Wii. (http://www.wiigen.fr/index.php?option=c ... &Itemid=45). So I setup my SD card with CIOS installer and downgrader in the Apps folder. The *****.wad file in the root of the SD card.

I ran the CIOS installer through the Homebrew Channel and I get this error instead of succes

Patchin and installing Cusom IOS, please wait...
>> Installing ticket ... ERROR ! (ret = -2011)

[ERROR]: Custom IOS could not be installed! (ret= -2011)

Press any button to restart the Wii ....

I actually tried two versions of the .wad file ... So I'm really thinking this is not the problem. Anyone could help me with this ?

I don't know why you ran into a problem, but really the best thing to do is to start from scratch. Format your SD card and try again. Make sure the file is named correctly, which is I believe CIOS36_rev5-64-v1042.wad. Make sure it is in the root, and then run the cIOS installer again.

im trying to downgrade but the file I have is named "IOS37-64-v2070.wad" is this perhaps the wrong file?

Here's how I did it.

Install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad

Install cIOS-fix.wad *** (if fails use wad manager 1.3)***

Run IOS Downgrader

Install Shop IOS51 without channel

Run cIOS Downgrader 1.2

IOS-16-64-v257-prod is needed for you to install wads on 3.4
