SoftMii v1.0 Alpha Instalation - Lil' Help?

The other day I downgraded my Wii from firmware version 3.4 to 3.2, and the first thing I noticed was that I was unable to play some of my newer Wii games without a suicidal update. I also recently noticed the release of SoftMii v1.0 Alpha from this site's news. The listed function of loading Wii discs without the need for updating instantly caught my eye...

Now here's the question: where do I start?

I have absolutely no idea how to install the software. Help?

Have you read the enclosed readme files the come with this package???

I only found an MS Word document, which happened to be a guide... there was an immediate problem, though:
When I loaded PreLoader, nothing happened. There was only a disclaimer on the screen. I tried every button (on the Wii remote) but the only one which did ANYTHING was the Home button, but that just sent me back to the Homebrew loader, of course.
