to get homebrew u have to do the twilight hack

the twilight hack is now available to 3.4u/e/j i dont think its available to system 4 unless further updates

From what I understand you cannot install the Homebrew channel (needed for homebrew) if you have an unhacked Wii at 4.0.

For the record your mod chip is completely separate from homebrew ability. That just allows you to play backups....
