Hey I'm new and have a few questions.

So i followed the tutorials and was able to successfully download the homebrew channel and also successfully perform the twilight hack.

I have system version 3.4 so that may be the problem but some apps don't load saying "this is not a wii application" such as the tanks game app and the sd gamecube save game transfer to the gamecube memory card app.

Please help me out with this problem if you feel able by posting here or better yet emailing me if that is easier for you.

and how exactly do i go about downgrading my system. i'm fine with that but are their any drawbacks?

The only drawbacks are: You get none of the patchs
Im not sure why it isnt working but, Did you name the files right? e.g. Boot.dol or Boot.elf etr

the tutorial didnt tell me to change any file types so i thought that it would do it for me. i will check to see if they are correct
