DOSBOX v.72 issue....game wont run from game title screen.

I don't even know if this is the right forum for this but, I just recently started running dosbox on my wii because i wanna play some old school cd rom games _doom2_ on my wii. I pretty much got everything running smoothly everything loads up then i get to the doom2 screen where your supposed to start the game but nothing happens. And theres no sound. its not frozen because when i ctrl - F9 it goes back to the sd card loader. can anyone help me with this little problem?

well i found out is not frozen because i ran monkey island cd rom today and everything is fine. there is sound but after the title screen music plays and you start the game theres no sound at all.

ps. how do i get dos config to come up on the wii? any help there would be great. Thanks.
