He wants you to close the auction, and talk you into sending it to him while he sends you the money. The money won't ever be sent.

Yeah my buddy was selling the topper off his truck, and got a guy like that who wanted him to ship it all the way to africa and stuff. It was a 300$ Topper, and the guy said he'd be willing to pay 1000$ for shipping and everything. I knew it was a scam right away; but it makes it more funner because i have another friend of mine who was also trying to sell his topper about a month sooner. Same exact guy tried it with him. Watch for them scammers, they will get you

Usually they will send you the money, but the problem is when they get your item they will lodge a complaint with paypal, and paypal almost always sides with the buyer. They will get their money back from you, and keep your item.

That's usually how these scams work.
